Bali is a beautifully bright, yet spiritually dark place and in desperate need of the gospel. The Balinese and other ethnic Indonesians are acutely spiritually aware, while the many foreigners who come to Bali are spiritually searching. This creates a ripe
and diverse harvest field.
The Johnson’s primary focus of ministry comes through serving at Gateway Bali, an international church, where Wade is the pastor and Paula disciples the women. This fellowship plays a key role in their work of advancing the gospel into Bali, neighboring islands,
and even the world through its constant flow of transient foreign attendees.
Additionally, in collaboration with a team of local Balinese pastors and partnerships with local Christian organizations, the Johnson’s are involved in the advancement of humanitarian and gospel-driven initiatives. Through the ministries of Christian orphanages
and elderly care facilities, water access and medical care in villages, audio Bible and food distribution, prison visitations, help for the needy, prayer for the sick, and support for persecuted Christians the light of the gospel has transformed many hearts.
Please pray for Wade and Paula in their ongoing ministry through the international church and local partnerships in shining the light of Christ in this spiritually dark place.
