While a majority of Indonesians practice Islam, the island province of Bali is predominantly Hindu. As Wade and Paula Johnson continue reaching out to Bali’s community of Muslims, God continues to draw people to Himself. Whole families, attracted to the claims of Christ, are experiencing deep changes of heart. The Johnsons have been able to evangelize to Hindus, as well.
God has opened the door for Paula to reach women for Christ in an infamous prison (known for its riots, prison breaks, and corruption). She has been invited into the women’s section to teach Bible studies to twenty-five Indonesian women weekly. While other ministries have presented great music and worship, these women crave the Word of God, and Paula faithfully brings it to them week after week.
Please pray for continued favor with the prison leaders and that the enemy of our souls will not hinder this great work of God.
